Get Financial Aid to Attend Camp!
The YMCA will not turn anyone away because of an inability to pay the entire fee. Because of the generosity of hundreds of people in the Valley of the Sun area, we are able to offer more than 350 sponsorships. If you know a family that needs help to attend camp, please fill out the Financial Assistance Application located below and mail to YMCA Camping Services 5725 S. Senator Hwy., Prescott, AZ 86303. If you are unable to print the forms, please call and request the Financial Assistance Application at 1-800-660-1385.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
- Before March 15: Deposits and camp fees are fully refundable.
- March 15-May 15: Camp fees less the $100 registration deposit are refundable.
- After May 15: Deposit and camp fees, excluding transportation fees, are non-refundable.
- Transportation fees will be refundable up until one week prior to camp attendance.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via the Cancellation Form available on the Camp Sky-Y website.
Refunds will not be made for the following:
- Deposits paid on or after March 15
- Cancellations requested after May 15
- No shows
- If a parent/guardian chooses to pick their camper up early
Campers who violate camp policies and are sent home (camper pick up and transportation is the parent/guardian’s responsibility)
If child is sent home during camp due to illness, refunds will be pro-rated based on number of days attended less the deposit.
Extenuating circumstances may be reviewed and potentially approved at the discretion of the YMCA. Approved refunds are processed via original payment method. No refunds are granted for participants who are late arrivals, no shows, or who are asked to leave their program for behavioral issues.
Payment Policies:
Registration Deposit:
A $100 deposit is due upon registration to reserve each camper’s spot.
Payments:
Camp fees must be paid in full by May 15th.
Multiple payments can be made by logging into your Camp Brain account. Full payment is due by May 15th.
If registering for camp after May 15th, full camp fees are due upon registration.
Late Payment Fees:
If camp fees are not paid in full by May 15th, your child’s registration may be cancelled. If you are struggling to pay the fees by May 15th, please contact the Camp Sky-Y billing department at skyybilling@vosymca.org. Financial assistance is available for those who need help to pay.
Financial Assistance:
The Valley of the Sun YMCA Camp Sky-Y makes every effort to ensure that no person will be denied access to programs because of financial hardship. Applications for financial assistance are available on the Camp Sky-Y website here: Financial Assistance Application.
Once we have reviewed and approved your application, you will receive an email confirming your scholarship award amount.
Financial assistance does not cover the registration deposit, transportation fee, specialty camp fees and expenses at camp store. We are only able to offer financial assistance for one session per participant each summer.
